Hi, I'm Jesse!

Hi there! I am Jesse, known affectionately as "Jaye" by my friends. I am the visionary behind Jaye Avery Photography, located in the heart of New York City. For the past decade, I have been honing my craft in capturing the essence of love through my lens. As a passionate wedding photographer, I am honored to be a part of each couple's journey and share in their love story.
History is a profound influence in my life and it shines through in my work. My most cherished possession is my grandparent's wedding album, which I inherited as a way to stay connected to my grandmother after she passed away. Despite never having the chance to meet my grandfather, I feel a deep connection to their legacy through their wedding photographs. This understanding of the importance of timeless imagery and the memories it preserves drives my commitment to capturing moments that will last a lifetime for my clients.
In my downtime, I relish in the quiet moments with my husband and famed Office Assistant/Toddler, for it is these precious moments that define our lives and provide a source of inspiration. I understand that the most meaningful moments often go unnoticed and it is my privilege to capture these fleeting moments, so they can be cherished for a lifetime.
